Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I had a good interview yesterday, I hope I get an offer.

Maybe they'll pay you in dimes.

Anyway, good luck!

I hope you do too, msbelle. And glad it went well.

I do not usually need that sign. Except when I have company. Cats are helpful like that.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Dimes are all well and good, but too small for my sausage fingers to hunt for in a change purse. All coins need to be bigger to help poor fumblefingers me.

I watched 24 off and on, and was surprised at how mild the ending was. Like, that was all? No riots in the streets, no "Jack loses someone he loves"? (I think he himself does not count, because what has he lost, really? The badge that allows him to do his hooptedoodle. But other losses? Dude didn't really have a family life anyway, and had already kinda burned bridges with the skinny woman, and all his friends are work friends. I think that disappearing into Canadian obscurity might be the best, most therapeutic thing that could possibly happen to Jack. Also, he would stop killing people, and I'm all for that.

I also watched the Braevs/Mets game, which was commented upon by some usual Braves duo, plus Rush Limbaugh. WTF? Didn't Donovan McNabb and his posse already chase that man out of sports? And if they didn't, can Pedro Martinez go drill him in the ass, please?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

tommyrot: GET TO WORK.

Don't MAKE me go get Gud.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Rush Limbaugh

Rush used to work for the Kansas City Royals, around the time they really started to suck. Coincidence? I think not.
