I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That is a cool thought, Raquel.

Scuba is fun! When you come back to CA, maybe we can all go on a dive.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I was out on the balcony pulling the shutters closed at sunset last night, and the sun was blazing orange, setting over a jagged range of mountains, and I suddenly thought that 2000 years ago, another woman might've stood just here and watched the sunset, just as I was. And then I thought, actually, someone has seen the sunset over those peaks every day for thousands of years.

My gloat was the shortest gloat ever. It is now officially over. Wow.

Aurelia, I ate a tamarind ball today. It was yummy.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Now I wish I was in Greece.

I ate a tamarind ball today. It was yummy.

Yay.

That reminds me that I need to make it to the post office tomorrow.

move out and draw fire

My gloat was the shortest gloat ever.

No, continue to gloat. I'd trade with you in a second. Music and cool weather and a little rain in exchange for dust, heat, and boredom!

Aw. Thanks. I do love my home. But I sure wouldn't mind visiting Greece. I haven't left the country for altogether too long, and the feeling of that kind of history is one of my most favorite things.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

t makes note to include Greece on any around-the-world itinerary planning I make

Timelies! I'm damn groggy this AM....

Now tagless for your comfort.

Greece is very pretty. But I've just seen the pictures DH brought back from his trip in college. He swears we're going to go together someday.

I also miss being the one to order office supplies for my office. It was a great way to indulge my fetish for cool pens/markers/highlighters on somebody else's budget.

Not groggy because there were 11 whole, uninterrupted hours of sleep last night.

And, OMG

I hadn't thought of of it, Jessica, but now that you mention it - Wheeeeee!!!

On an unrelated note, thank you, moderates on both sides of the aisle, for avoiding the craxy, at least for now: [link]

Unfortunately, someone will be stuck with 3 very toxic judges, but at least it's not all ten.
