You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You were doing a column on things alchemic, no?

...the hell? You mean my science blog?

How embarassed should I be that I was like, "Olyphant, who's that? ...Oh, the guy from Dreamcatcher."

He's the guy from Go for me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This embarassed.

Crap. I was afraid of that.

Can I pimp P-C's science blog in three posts or less?

Sure.

And alienate Jesse, while flirting with erikaj?

Easy stuff.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had a very good day. I took the train into the city, and met very cool people for lunch, and then walked around SF with them, and bought cool artwork, and went to Lush, and then went to Deb's for very good food, and then came home.

Ooh, also, I bought a Darth Vader Pez, a Death star Pez, and a Chewbacca Pez.

I think I am going to take the Death star one to the new office, and put it on my door.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oof. Emmett had a Little League game today. He hit a Little League home run (which is a regular double with several overthrows), and threw somebody out at second while catching. We won handily but it was not a particularly fun game as various players were crying at various times.

Emmett is being lobbied hard to join the Tournament Team (aka All Stars). He wants to but I don't particularly want to be driving to places like Sacramento for tournaments all summer. Must think about it.

In other news, Buffistas all dressed up for Prom? Pretty! Buffistas sitting around on Saturday night talking in Natter? Also pretty! It's a win /win situation.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I made it to the New Orleans Lush store today. I have a bath bomb, plus the nice lady gave me soap samples. I suspect it may be to get me hooked.

Samples... I've never gotten samples from Lush! They must have had me pegged as an ultra-easy target the second I walked through the door. I love my Karma Komba shampoo bars to bits. Love 'em.

Good for Emmett, on both counts.

Always Anti-fascist!

Honestly, it's only a sideline to my being a creative genius and the love child of Flannery O'Connor and Raymond Chandler, Gus. The merest accident of genes, my gorgeous. Genes and Hec's hair advice.

I do not want to know how Flannery O'Connor and Raymond Chandler had a love child. I am sure it would disturb my understanding of biology.

The results? MAH-vellous!
