Also, there's a really unattractive schadenfreudian side to me that was rooting against him in the Derby because of all the schmaltzy sentimental buildup, but that's still really happy to hear this. Psychoanalyze at your own risk.
Well, I'm kind of with you on this. I'm dead sick of the Human Interest Horses, almost as sick as I am of the Blue Blooded Next Big Thing.
However, I have the race fan version of a bulletproof kink when they almost go down and still come back to win. See: Alysheba.
Actually, it basically extends to any horse able to overcome hideous racing luck, even if they don't win in that race. Artax (aka, the horse that guy punched at Pimlico) is a key example. That he managed to survive that without injury or mental trauma made me root for him.
And I think I loved A.P. Indy because he had a bad habit of very bad starts indeed, yet often won despite them. Even if he was a prime example of BBNBT.
Also, I like years where there's no Triple pressure.
Gronk! I had such high hopes for toda. I have a little craft project to do and while working on it I realized I needed some more supplies. when I got home, I felt unusually sleepy so I laid down on the couch for just a short one. 3 and a half hours later, I've just barely dragged myself up. drat!
shrift, my condolences to you and yours.
Mostly, Gus, I'd say Bitches gets more intimate.
Yeah. In Natter, we'll talk about anything. In Bitches, we talk about everything. I think I go to the Natter thread for the talk, and to the Bitches thread for the people. I don't know. Each time I try to differentiate it in my head it wants to come out something like the difference is clear, and I know it when I see it. Like P-C said, you're in Natter, now.
I had thought (for whatever reason, I don't know) that this race would be Afleet Alex's and I'm happy that Scrappy made the board and that Giacomo proved (to me and my friends at least) that the Derby wasn't a fluke.
Thanks, erikaj and Cindy.
I do not understand your advice, but it is
way
sexy.
Bitches is closer to the earth?
t runs

You have the best handle on Natter vs. Bitches than anyone in the history of ever.
Thank you, maybe that's because I wonder about it far too often.
I think Gus just gave Bitches a next title. bwah!
Want new Wire now. Not in 2006! Stupid Blown Deadline! Work faster.
(Of course I'm an idiot cause it's not Sunday.)
