I am not .3% Jamaican, except inasmuch as I Am America, and the US is .3% Jamaican.
Although I swear I heard my grandmother's family was somewhere in the west indies before they made it to TX. So maybe I am!!

A friend of mine has, Emily. I can give him your e-mail address if you want, I'm sure he'd be glad to talk about it.
Hmm. More talking to strangers. Really, all I want is someone to pat me on the back and say, "It's a good idea, it'll be fine, you should totally do it." For lo, I am pathetic and meek.
Emily, if you want to teach, it seems like a great idea. I've heard more good things about Princeton Review than about Kaplan, but not recently (my cousin just lost her job with Princeton so we hate them now).
Emily, It's a good idea, it'll be fine, you should totally do it. Also, you're good enough, smart enough, and, doggonit, people like you!
Russian-Chinese-Italian-German-what we thought was Scots but turns out to be more likely to be English here. Plus any that haven't been traced yet.
Has anyone here ever worked for Kaplan, doing tutoring or teaching or the like? Or for that matter ever had Kaplan classes or tutoring? I'm contemplating applying, but I want a bit more information first.
I took Kaplans for my LSATs, then a couple years later trained to teach the LSATs. I didn't end up teaching because I got a better offer. I remember really liking the prep course, and the training course being a pleasant experience.
Well, I can tell you he enjoyed it. If asked, I'm sure he would tell you it's a good idea and you should do it. So if that's all you want to know, no need for you to talk to him directly.
Jesse, I was looking at Princeton Review, but all the classes there (and at Kaplan, too) seem to be smack dab during the time I'm going to be doing summer classes (which is to say, July, 5-9:15 every evening). So I'm thinking of seeing if tutoring at Kaplan is a bit more flexible to my schedule, but they're just not giving me enough information on the Website. And of course I like to be fully informed before talking to an Actual Person.
Let's see . . . English (Welsh-Norman)-Scots-German-Dutch (and maybe Moorish, though I personally believe Antony was already born when Jan Jansen got to Morocco in the early 1600s, joined the Salee Rovers, and married a local woman).
That's why I never ended up doing Princeton Review myself, there was a TON of training, mostly at times bad for me. Once I had made it through the training, the teaching would have been more flexible.
