Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Not that I'm in a mood or anything.

I was in a horrible, terrible, no good mood. But after I ate, I no longer felt the need to smash things. I still think today could use a good smack to the head, but --

Uh oh. New company CEO has arrived. Must look industrious.

Maybe you should move to Australia.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hmm, apparently the case for life currently existing on Mars has been getting stronger.

Cool.

I was so bummed as a kid when Viking apparantly showed there was no life on Mars.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I mean, how did she even ask? "Hey, I need you to clip my fingernails,"?

She came over to me, holding a pair of scissors, and said "I need you to do a favor for me."

I knew when I took this job that it would be partly in a personal-assistant capacity, but that seems beyond the pale. Glad to hear that it's not just me being overly sensitive.

There are scientists that dispute that.

Edit: That Viking showed there was no life on Mars, not that you were bummed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, you know what? People who can hire personal assistants should GET A PROFESSIONAL MANICURE. Oy.

Speaking of which, my manicure from almost 10 days ago only just now looks crappy. Impressive! But I am on strict orders to do my own nails (finger and toe) for the next six weeks.

Today is sort of boring at work. I'm working on transitioning our build system from the old perl based build/web interface to a new Ant/CruiseControl/JSP based build/web interface. Running a test build takes forever so I'm spending a lot of time waiting for my computer to do things.

Yeah. That's why I put in the word "apparantly." Though I suppose I could have come up with a better qualifier.

Anyone in California who's thinking of buying a cloned cat--better do it soon before it becomes illegal.

Also, the price has come down: now $32,000, down from $50,000 last year.

"Allergry-proof" cats may be banned too.
