What the Patriot Act doesn't go far enough?
No, I can't really work up surprise.
Just to throw some pedantry out there, you definitely want to round to 3.98 and not 3.97 if you are going to two decimal places. There is an actual rule of rounding that if you are rounding from a 5 you go to the even number. I just like that that rule exists and must mention it, even if everyone already knows.
Oops. Sorry for the doublepost.
Frank, it was
18 months earlier.
I lost Thursday. Curse you, dark side!
There's a Vogon/Sith joke in there somewhere...
sumi, I saw your post in Bitches about the Abomination that Causes Desolation taking over the JoA timeslot. This cannot stand. We need crosses, holy water, torches (fire purifies, yo and the other end can be whittled into a stake ahead of time), and possibly pitchforks (because who doesn't need them, really?).
I'm flexible
I just like numbers. I have no idea how the American grading system works.
[This is going to be the silliest Edit ever, but see how the digits in my post # are jumbled up consecutive ones, only without the 7? That may mean that Dana should go with the 3.98 without the 7 (or 75) in it. That's my version of an opinion and I'm sticking to it]
Cindy -- we can only hope that the show dies the painful death that shows in that timeslot tend to.

Really? You don't always round up? Huh.
Nope, if it's less than five it stays the same.
3.973 would round to 3.97 but 3.976 should round to 3.98

Yeah, that's my feeling too, but then there are websites out there that say "don't round up! no matter what!" which offends my second-grade self.
Thanks for all the opinions. I went with 3.97 this round, but we're also bugging the academic people we know for their take on it.
And I'm hitting the road for New Orleans, baby!
