See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

'Cause he liked it, I'd guess. Alibelle could correct me for sure, but I think that if some casting directer were to un-typecast him, there's no tat in this 'verse a really good makeup artist can't cover.

Ohhhh, look, he was on "Eyes." Bless him.

chin wobbles at thought of 10 p.m. rolling around tonight with no snarktastic Tim Daly and geekalicious A.J. Langer

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Actors' opinions I've heard on tattoos:

  • If I started, I don't think I'd ever stop.
  • No. I need to stay castable.
  • Why?

It's not so much about the roles you can play -- it's the roles you can get. If he wants to break out of the gang lord niche, he has to be much much better than those around him. Not all actors care, I guess.

Isn't there a whole crew of ex-gang members in LA who specifically seek out roles as such? I remember reading that somewhere. It was interesting. If I remember correctly, they do outreach to get kids out of gangs and into acting.

I like the crayola red wigs on Alias best. Still tired of the new opening credits, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, and I think there are actual former organized crime guys acting now, too. But LaSardo was an actor as a kid.

Alias question: If they didn't know she was what's-her-name Derevko, who did they think she was??

Jesse, Nadia's caretaker/orphanage runner, I think. Her mom supposedly left her in Sonia's care.

Also, is it just me or was the segue into Arvin going loopy again and his & Nadia's trip seem really abrupt and out of the blue? I mean, it has only been 30 minutes. Like the plotting got rushed. Even for Alias. Maybe it is in prep for the knocked up JG.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I liked some of those hot colors(though I was more thinking of clothing than home decor) and find some of the others to be ugh.

OK, either I am actually paying closer attention that usual or it is really herky jerky.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I missed the first half hour of Alias, can anyone give me a quick recap?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would try, sj, but as you will note in my whitefont above, I still don't know any of the character's names.

Good luck with the house, Sheryl!
