Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

So, I think we consense that Gud's children should be envied their father. If my dad wasn't so great, and if I weren't way too old for that kind of thing, I'd trade.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I didn't even have enough backyard for a spaceship, never mind a castle! t /tragic childhood

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, I had the backyard, but it was filled with produce trees and Doberman Pinschers.

Well, and a badminton court, but we hardly ever strung the net up.

Because we preferred using the tennis backboard.

Wait, where was I?

Right. No spaceship! How wrong is that?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I didn't have a spaceship. I had a sword and shield, and a witchy dress and a magic wand. And a pointy hat.

What we did have that was cool was an electric lift up to the back porch, for my grandfather's wheel chair. HOURS of fun.

Too cool, Jesse. Almost as good as a spaceship.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And yet, NOT.

Maybe I should get a spaceship now. That would rock.

Librarian Warlord

We had swings, slide, jungle gym, and something we called a whirlybird, which had 4 seats and spun around. My sister drew an awsome pattern of streets with sidewalk chalk on the driveway for our scooters, bikes, play cars, etc.

But no spaceship.

You have neither a backyard nor a Gudanov. How's that going to work?

brillig

I had 40 acres of woodland, where deer would wander out of the trees at dawn and stare at the house, and streams to play in and hills to walk in.
