Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hi, Nilly! I only slept about four hours last night, but feel pretty good, due to I get to leave work early today to get my hair cut, always fun PLUS I get to see Allyson later! Yes, life is good.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

The semester is a bit crazy, so of course I'm making it crazier by playing on b.org for two days in a row. The usual.

Aw, Nilly's just so cute when she's living life on the edge.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Can you be a bit more specific? The new job, the new place? New D&D people?

I can, but it's now midnight here, and it would take a while. I'm about to hit the sack. But there shall be a post in a couple of days or so.

And with that, I'm off to bed! Catch everyone later.

Looking forward to hearing more on what's up in Billyteaworld!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I can, but it's now midnight here, and it would take a while. I'm about to hit the sack.

Stupid spherical planet, with the different times of day in the different parts....

Swouncing

Robin! That does read like a good day. Do you still have that bit of red in your hair?

living life on the edge

Hey, I nearly left the university really early today to go to my friend B's place and play with her baby all afternoon, because I hadn't seen him, let alone held him, in over a month. Nearly. Um, that doesn't help, does it?

[Edit: I'll keep my eyes open (and the Search function working), billytea, thanks! And good night!]

Coding and Sleeping

We're all kind of tired of talking politics.

British Memo refuted.
Filibuster compromise booted.
DeLay Ethics disputed.
Illicit Iraqi oil deals reputed.
Quran flushing story muted.
Military base closures mooted.
Wait, this just in. Filibuster compromise talks rebooted

I don't have red streaks anymore, and I miss them. I just couldn't afford them full time. I am spending extra cash to have the stylist color my hair for me today, so I look AGAP (as good as possible) for this wedding I am attending in a week. It's such pampering to have someone do it for you and I am looking forward to, basically, just sitting there!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Skipping ahead to ask for some help. I have the strangest urge to pet a chicken (and no, that's not a euphemism, pervs) and there are no chickens anywhere about. Whatever shall I do? We can put a man on the moon and we can't manage a simple...oh, wait, nevermind.
