Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

ita, that so rocks! Go you!

Could someone explain sheets to me, so that I can explain them to my hairdresser here? She's really good with colour, but she's not really in the forefront of hair trends, you know? But she digs on learning, and I want to stay on her good side as I can't afford to go to a salon here (my hair woman is a British ex-pat).

I just gave up and got my ends darkened to match my roots, and I love it! It looks so much healthier. I wish I could do cool colors like pink or blue in my hair, but with the curl it comes out too diffuse or too clown-like.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Raquel, I am so glad you asked! I can't sleep and I am now able to answer this question and feel useful. Sheets are made by parting the hair horizontally, from the front of the head to the back up above the ear and using foil to only color hair in a line following the part.. Here's a picture, only I think the line needs to be a bit more horizontal. [link]

It makes for subtle but gorgeous color which is easy to grow out.

Ooh, thanks Robin! Although I hope you are asleep by now and having pleasant dreams.

The joys of the working mother.

I can feel a nap coming on, myself. I need to go get milk, but by the time Mal wakes up and eats and is ready to go out, it will be time to go get gas and pick up the DH. So I think I will postpone the market run until after Robert gets home. Tomorrow's grocery day anyway, which is a 3-hour ordeal, so I'll let Mal get what rest he can.

He woke with nightmares this morning again, poor kid. I don't know what's freaking him out, but I wish it wouldn't.

NILLY!

This is a wave of hello, as I think Lily is asleep enough for me to put her down now, so that I can go to sleepland.

Raquel! I don't think I even got to congratulate you on your new mommy-hood. How are you adjusting to each other? I love the "Mal" nickname!

Night, PMM. For both of you.

Oh, and the reason I poked head in this thread in the first place: according to the Buffista Calendar today is Vortex's birthday. Happy birthday, Vortex! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Also, it was the date of the first F2F, in 2002. Can you believe that it's been three years already?
