All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

24: TONY!!!! NOOOOO!

I'm thinking of having some friends over soon, and am trying to think of lots of wee finger food type things to make. Suggestions?

Cream cheese with a cucumber slice sprinkled with dill weed over the cracker of your choice. Simple, pretty, and tasty.

Aurelia, ita didn't answer. That means you should send them all to me.

Actually she answered so quickly it was funny. Never question ita's timing. And BTW, I finally made it to the post office with your package.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Allyson, I like a kind of grocery store meze platter for parties -- olives, cured meat, cheese, hummus, veggies.

I'm sad about Skin Deep! But she was CRANKY.

I just randomly saw a show with Greg Proops, Jeff Goldblum, and Lewis Black. It was pretty good, even though we were sitting literally up against the stage -- Jeff Goldblum called out my friend's "peg tooth."

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay!

You should still send them to me.

All your tamarind balls are belong to me.

I'm pretty sure the store gets a constant supply.

More 24: I thought the kiss must be one of those occasional happys. Now the boot is just there. Hovering.

Are you ready to be strong?

PMM, how about keeping most of it pretty dark but getting shiny dark copper or bronze or reddish highlights--not in streaks but in, like, little sheets/bunches?

I like Rio's idea. I may have to steal it for myself.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Any suggestions from the hairista crowd?

I say A. Because you ought to be close to both Scully and the Plei-in-your-head.

Full Disclosure: Okay, so there's the off chance of more hair damage at which point an impatient Ple might want to get rid of the evidence.

Hmm, yeah, like the link up thread where I noted the cool/funky color.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

sheets are great, actually, especially if you do them below the top layer of your hair. That way new growth doesn't show roots as much.

Are you ready to be strong?

I have sheets right now of a color that is so close to my natural color that I'm the only person who can tell they're there. And yet I LOOOVE them.
