The modern gift for us would be linen/lace.
Same for our anniversary this year. Which means I should find Pete a really good black linen suit, and I get more frilly lace clothing. Works for me!
I want to get married. I love paper. I want personalised notecards, hell, I even like laser printer paper.
Bring it on, baybee.
In additional tales of "how did that work out that way?" a co-worker had an accident in which he was deemed responsible. He sold his newly repaired car to a dealer for more than blue book (and more than he owed on it), bought a new one, had a cop that recommended against filing a report and putting it on his record, and his insurance went down.
My life never works that way, I swear.
Did the accident involve another car and driver, ita?

I was writing out my first batch of thank you notes last night and realized i need even MORE paper. Love paper. I also love Pantone color books.
There's a Kate's Paperie store across the street from my job. I'm not really allowed to go in there.... I have notecards out the wazoo, and I NEVER write notes! Der.
I want personalised notecards
Google has to many options, I need the hivemind - what are notecards?
Italian horses given Viagra boost
I want to know what the horses used to type with when they ordered it over the Internet.
"Dear Sir, my name is Daisy, I am a cow. I wish to take my own life, so please send me three buckets of anthrax, as anthrax is designed to kill cattle and I want to end it all right now. P.S.: I cannot shoot myself as I have no opposable thumbs."
Did the accident involve another car and driver, ita?
He was the rear car in a four car pileup.
I also love Pantone color books.
Yes! I'm lousy with colour, but like scraps of it around. A friend gave me sheets of origami paper when I was in HS, and I kept them for about ten years, unfolded. I'd take them out and feel them every now and again.
I bought cool notecards. Someone do something for me, so I can thank them, stat!

I love paper, too. Pantone color books are fun (plus, I get a 12-year-old giggle out of specifying "pms" colors for 2-color jobs). I'm pretty sure you could translate a paper anniversary to mean "books". And a fella who buys me books, especially books I really like, well, after a year of marriage to me he'd know it's a way to my heart. Or other parts.
