I may take a very long walk as soon as this phone meeting is over.
NBC upfronts -- they're not starting off the 2005-2006 season with Scrubs.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

What? Bastards. I dislike waiting.
none of that looks appealing.
Scrubs and ER are the only NBC shows I watch. Which is not like it used to be.
WHa???
Grrr.

In Israel, they had the first season of Scrubs a couple of years ago, and I loved it. That's all I can contribute to the conversation.
So, folks, what are some good things about the American high school system? Also (and probably more likely to garner responses) what are some Big Problems and bold, creative ideas for fixing them?

Nilly, hey! I just saw NE on DVD a while ago, and got the Chris-oost all over again. More. I know what the "collective unconscious" really is, now. And I still want to take Dr. Joel out and muss him up. Ed was cool too, but I'm kind of too much of an Ed to date an Ed.

good:
lockers
senior skip day
choices
being part of a pop-culture cliche (best years/worst years - making it through...)
worst:
underfunded
teaching towards tests, not learning
everyone getting a trophy
teacher's salaries
Wait, everyone gets a trophy? Where's mine? I wanna trophy!
ETA: Guess maybe I should've finished high school then, huh?
