Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Ann, that's a ferret.

A little late, but Happy Birthday, Megan!

We went to the Nationals-Cubs game last night. Ended up being more interesting than I anticipated, due to the weather.

I wish I'd known this, Sheryl. We were there, too, but we left during the 7th inning, around 11:30. IOW, when Hernandez left, so did we.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

A show with a Jack and a Logan would be intense. Probably not even legal in Cincinnatti.

Everything is illegal here. Which is annoying, but does tend to make one feel fabulously deviant when doing/reading/watching just about anything.

Trust my rage

My top 10 guys on TV list (not in any order):

Logan (VM)
Jack (SpyDaddy)
Sark
Brian Kinney
Christian Troy
Dr. McDreamy
Spike
Michael Vaughn, but this year only when he was the priest

I guess that's it - I can only think of 8. That's sort of sad.

Swouncing

My top 10 guys on TV list

I skipped, I have no idea why we're listing this, and I'm horrible at these sort of lists, I can never pick favorites, I always think I'm going to insult the others I like (yeah, even when they're fictional, I can't help it).

Chronologically, I think the first tv-guy I ever noticed was Chris-in-the-morning from "Northern Exposure". My best friend started the noticing right about then as well, but hers was Ed, from the same show. We were very pleased that we wouldn't need to argue.

[Edited because I can't htink, I can barely think]

it's for your own good.

I know what's best.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I finally saw the Project Greenlight finale last night at freaking midnight -- but I figured I'd better catch that one, because apparently the ratings have been really bad, so I was afraid they wouldn't re-run it. That was probably the last season.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Survivor was good but not as good as the previous two episodes. Half of what I wanted to happen, happened. To wit, Tom won but Ian didn't go final two and that manipulative twit Katie got a chance. I cannot believe how utterly self-absorbed and hypocritical she is, and how Ian is so sweet not to see it. Everyone was able to play on his sense of honor to make him feel guilty for PLAYING FUCKING SURVIVOR.

I thought, however, that Ian made a good move in giving up-- there was a chance that Tom would pick him anyway, and he would have regained his sympathy factor.

I am tired.

You survive your weekend, missy? Or is this your ghost?

I'venow convinced myself I cannot afford a house. (I probably can-need to go talk to money people, but I'm just whacko on this subject.)
