You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What about Joe Louis's and Mae Wests? Where do they fit in to the filled/marshmallowed/chocolated pastry scheme?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just got back from USC graduation. I think, in my search for the Intramural Field, that I wandered the entire campus. Didn't see Ali, though, even though I kept an eye out.

Then lunch at the Grove.

Does everyone think their family is crazy? Either fungood crazy, or batshit crazy? If they do, where are the sane people (other than me, naturally).

GREAT DAY OFF.

Here's my password secret: take a phrase or long word I like. Choose a punctuation mark. Toss it into the word somewhere. If, like work, I need to change regularly, also toss in a 0 somewhere, and increment it when demanded. Sometimes I move the digit around, but usually just back and forth from two or three positions.

Are those work passwords they're asking for? Not only would I happily lie to get coffee, I'd also consider that I have ten or so passwords at any given time (not counting voicemail (3)). What are they getting into, again?

I keep track with a PGP encrypted app on my PDA, but only for the rarely used ones.

My family is crazy.

My mom just sent my catholic school uniform from high school, including blazer which she had cleaned.

I used to be a thin little thing because the jacket is super tight and the skirt is not even remotely zippable.

Yet I have an urge to figure out how to panel it so I could wear it again. though it's way higher than I remember.

Why would she send that?

Because she knew you'd try it on and try to figure out a way to wear it?
