Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthday, Eddie!

And a little late, but since I rarely check in on Saturdays:

Happy Birthday, Greg!

What is even happening?

Happy Birthday, Eddie!

Nilly, welcome back. I've missed you. I have skimmed. Was your Passover nice?

Jars, food is a good gift. My favorite gifts we received when our children were born were from my old college roommate who got me a gift certificate to a local place for a full dinner for all of us (but the baby, that is); and from my other best friend who made us a lasagna and salad.

Since your friend is still living with her parents, like you said, a meal isn't as important. A cheesecake would be lovely, because when people come to visit, she'll have something to offer them. You're very thoughtful.

I don't know how I missed that post, Nilly. I am glad the weather was so lovely.

I hate being computerless too, for just exactly the situations you describe. I also resent when I am looking for something in big book, and can't just do a word search on the little bit I do remember.

Did you watch any of Wonderfalls when you were here, visiting?

Trudy! Did you get Coca-Cola this Passover, like you like?

Did you watch any of Wonderfalls when you were here, visiting?

I watched all 13 episodes of it when I was in LA, on Allyson's DVDs. Just holding the case at my freind T's place was strange, because those images for me are LA, Allyson's apartment on a jet-lagged evening, on a lazy Sunday morning. Perkins' apartment - falling asleep on her sofa, having organic vegetarian kosher ham on her carpet, squeezing the last episode right before the trip to SF. The show is so connected to the experiences and the people of the first week of the USA trip. I feel the way I did when, while walking on the streets of Boston and seeing some second-hand books, I've encountered a couple of familiar ones in Hebrew. Worlds colliding. But I'm really looking forward to watching the show, one episode at a time (I'm really slow at my tv watching, I need some "air" between each episode. T, of course, wants to kill me for it).

Belated wave to Nilly... (or not so belated. Hi, Nilly!)

Happy Birthday, Eddie!

Hil, I'm glad you finally got confirmation. Very exciting.

And now I'm off to see Hitchhiker. Hoping for the Serenity trailer; we'll see.

Oh, and Jesse, that's so fun. How was the play?

Nilly, I haven't had any sugar this year and have lost a bit of weight doing so. Next year I'll have passover coca-cola to my heart's content.

It's so good to "see" you!
