To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Also, did any of the J&B watchers get a total giggle from Warren turning into The Mayor as an adult?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I did! Though not near as much as I did President Bartlet leaving him in charge during the SotU, or Holland doing heart surgery.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

The thing I do that you're not supposed to WRT passwords is use the same one for a lot of different things. I have 2 or 3 usual passwords, so when I log in somewhere I haven't been in months, I actually have a chance of getting the right one before they kick me out of the system. I actually have a harder time with user names--am I susanw, or did I have to go to susansw, or was even that taken, forcing me to use my last name, etc.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I usually pick a theme so that my passwords are in a series and easier to remember. Back in the eighties I used Shakespeare characters: Ophelia, Tybalt, Cordelia, Mercutio...

Last year I used Buffistas with long enough names, so at various times last year I typed in: Xanderella1, Cashmere2, Juliana3, and Madrigal4 every day for weeks on end.

I'm on a new series this year, of course.

Up with the sun

On The O.C., I missed everything after Summer and Seth kiss at the dance and the Song Montage O' Episode Ending starts. What happened?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Also, I'm trying to decide if I want to go to JPL family day.

You should have iced tea with me and go with me to the paper source so I can make pretty thank you cards instead.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"While we're on the topic of Bush's leisure time, anyone intent on criticizing the president for taking an hour and a half out of his day to mountain-bike should take the following as proof that he is indeed a busy man: In a photo taken just after the ride, Bush is holding what appears to be a copy of 'I Am Charlotte Simmons,' the Tom Wolfe novel about debauchery on a college campus. In early February, Bush told reporters he was reading that same book -- which, if he is almost done, averages to about seven pages a day."

What is even happening?

Xanderella1
This made me smile so much. Part of me will always be Xanderella, I think. I don't know if that's good or bad, but it's so.
