Huh. I also didn't hate Theresa but I'm not sure how the whole she has the baby thing will pan out in the long run.

Just about miraculosly, it looks like no NYers were hurt today -- either in the collapsed wall or the railroad bridge fire. We're dodging bullets all over the place.

No, I guess, more to the point, I can't figure out if this should really be a personal essay (like "I worked at the local library when I was in high school, I started a library at a school in India, etc.") or a list of what I want to accomplish with a degree in library science (like "I want to be a school librarian or maybe a music librarian or maybe an astronaut"). Right now it's a lot about why I think school librarians rock, but not very much about what I think I could accomplish as one.

If they call it "statement of career objectives," I'd think it should be what you Want To Do, and why you think this degree would help you get there.

OC: Why did they bother having Kirsten hit by that big truck? Meta said she wasn't going to die, previews right after said she wasn't even badly hurt. Why not something more realistic, considering the end point they wanted to achieve? I did like that Sandy didn't try and stop her from leaving with the alcohol. You have to pick your battles.
