Steph, in all the angst of the ending, I had forgotten about that part.
Well, the twice was: (1)
as soon as I realized that Keith was getting choked up when Veronica signed the contract (and ha ha, evil Kanes!),
and (2)
when Keith pulled Veronica out of the refrigerator.
Heh. I just got that -- the old
"woman in the refrigerator"
trope, but turned on its head. Heh.
Logan
had better be okay. He's probably making out with
Weevil.
Oh, DUDE, Veronica had better
NOT get back together with Duncan. Not not not.
VM: guessed Aaron, but was there anything along the way that ever hinted at a relationship between them?
Specifically
Aaron? No. But Lilly did mention having a big secret to VM. Also, she liked men, and he likes young women, plus he has a vicious temper. I was certain when I saw the video setup in the pool house. That had to be Aaron's. I figured there had to be a tape somewhere of him and Lilly.
The reason I started to watch TAR is largely to see if they go anywhere I've been. And I have some incredible pictures from
Fort Morro or whatever it is called.
A series of white plastered arched doorways, a view of the ocean from a bathroom window that was rusty iron bars overlooking the blueblue sea. Probably the most posterworthy photos I've ever taken. Loved that place.
VM:
I guess I suspected Aaron or Celeste, but I thought Aaron would be a better story. I liked the resolution, but it did seems to be a bit out of the blue to me. Not enough to make me disappointed in it, though. We were having this conversation about Xander and the OMWF spell the other day and I think it's sort of the same - a bit out of the blue.
However, that's my only beef with the epsiode
(well, and not knowing what happened to Logan)
. Oh, and I noticed that there were
no credits (not sure that deserves whitefont, but hey). I think it's cool that they wanted to use every minute of air time to tell the story
.
VM:
Also, Mom!Mars gets the bad mom of the year award. Suddenly Celeste
doesn't look so bad.
Haha! Been there too! Of course, good luck with the navigation. Mr. Navigator, my dad, got so LOST in
PR.
And the traffic was wonky. I nearly killed him. Until I got the map and started driving.
VM:
I didn't think it was out of the blue. They showed Aaron's vicious side a couple of times, and it all couldn't have been just to woobify Logan. Of all the loose cannons in Neptune, Aaron seemed the loosest.
VM I had wondered if Lily was killed by mistake -- that the killer was trying to kill Veronica. After all, she and Lily both had long blonde hair and had similar builds. Under that theory, the likely killer was Celeste, who wanted to kill VM because Celeste believed that VM was going to tell everyone that Kane was her father and them make a claim on the Kane fortune.
Oh, and by the way, I really doubt that a minor could sign away her rights to her "daddy's" estate like that.
VM: No kidding -
She stole her daughter's college fund and the 50K!
Steph, yeah. I spent most of the ep wondering why
Liane came back. It certainly didn't seem like it was to be with Keith.
