Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
I have a bunch of colored mascaras which add a wisp of color you can only really see close-up. I wear those most days and really like them.

I guess I just end up cleaning the Dry Clean Only pieces so much less often that it's not that much of an issue. Which is what the What Not to Wear people told the anti-drycleaning lady (she was also anti-cashmere and anti-silk?! craxy).
Of course...making and keeping a budget = really not something I'm any good at.

My dry-clean-only clothes sit in a bag at the bottom of my closet for months until I get around to taking them to be cleaned. This results in their never, ever, ever being worn. So it doesn't make sense for me to buy any more.

Eventually I stopped trying to have a style and just went with clothes that bug me the least.
This is me. But a lot of things bug me, so I may occasionally appear to have a style simply because I'm so dang picky that all my outfits end up a bit sameish. I like the idea of having a more advanced style, but in practice I haven't the energy for more than clean hair and lip gloss.
But, am I the only one who makes sure her underpants and bra are at least in the same color family? When I just grab the first clean ones and they *don't* match at all, I feel off all day.

Moi. Mascara at the very least, most often a tinted lipbalm as well (that comes right off, so I don't know why I bother). Powder in the summer.
That's my work face, though. My people/show face has much more makeup.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
My routine makeup wear is linked to my tag. Something has to go on my lips. First thing on a work morning, that has colour. The stuff that makes my face matte moisturises it too.
If I needed to keep my lashes from cracking or getting ashy, I'd wear more mascara.

Exactly! I work in a casual office (not busines casual, casual casual) so I don't need dressy clothes that often. Case in point, today I'm in navy capris and a v-neck stripey t-shirt. The few dry clean clothes I have are dressy or business that get worn occassionally. Of course, I forget they're in that bag at the bottom of my closet when I want to wear them...
