I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Cleary I need new shoes.

I wil have to be satisfied with my BIG ASS check from my refinance payout and the newly arranged living room of homey goodness that awaits me at the end of the day.

Nilly, I have loads to still do on my apartment (fix water damage #2 in kitchen, strip and repaint entry, strip bathroom fixtures, sand and stain coffee table and bookshelves....). eventually it will get redone. I have a plan.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But this week is the Israeli Independence Day, so a long weekend, which is of the fun and good.

Yay fun and good!

I wil have to be satisfied with my BIG ASS check from my refinance payout and the newly arranged living room of homey goodness that awaits me at the end of the day.

Awesome.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Clearly everyone needs new shoes!

My weekend wasn't terribly exciting otherwise. Like Nutty, I spent a lot of time huddled under blankets in my apartment. As I was shivering my way through putting gas in the car this morning, I thought to myself, "When you wish you had worn your scarf and heavy coat in MAY, it's too cold."

Art Crawl!!!

Re: that storyline in Grey's Anatomy: Jake and Bobby had a non-whore abortion. . . quickly followed by the character's death.

So, really not an improvement.

Swouncing

fix water damage #2 in kitchen

But you can cook in your kitchen and wash dishes there, not like it was before, right?

eventually it will get redone. I have a plan.

I have complete faith in you.

We had a scorcher this weekend. I think this is where the Boston-area heat went to. Why can't this weather just share nicely and give everybody a nice temperature?

oh yes, the work from water damage #1 is all done, new countertop, everything in it's place.

It's hard for me to remember what things were like when you were here.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

The real question in all this is, WHY is it 45d outside in May?? WTF?? And why did Boston have a hurricane this weekend?

Did you see any of that second baseball game yesterday? I'm kept wanting to stop the game early, and not just because we finally had a lead and it counts as a game after 5 innings--I just wanted to bring all the players of both teams in out of the 40 degrees and rain, sit them down by a roaring fire, and feed them chicken soup.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Beverage update: I am drinking the diet cherry vanilla Dr Pepper, and it is not blowing my mind.

Yeah, that sounds all wrong. Too many only vaguely mixy flavors happening at once.
