Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Allyson, what ita said. I've done it twice now. I was even able to pay one off by doing that.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Allyson, we did that once. It was a huge relief because the payments were manageable. Credit card companies can fuck with your interest rate and you end up paying through the nose.

We had a card that we had paid off a $4K balance and they still jacked our rate up to 27%!!! I called to cancel and they offered me a 13% rate. I told them to stick it in their ass.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

We needed it down here in SoCal.

ita needs to learn how to share.

I like those pearls. I am tempted by the longer strand.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think what I like best about this series of Dr. Who is that the bit players both die and save the Doctor and his companion. Who's still top dog, but not always the one on the white horse of action or decision.

I am tempted by the longer strand.

Buy 'em both! I ended up with the short strand, the akoya stud earrings, and a silver and pearl cable necklace.

I decided that my jewelry was too boring. So my whole garnet and silver thing has been supplemented by black pearls and silver.

That'll fix it.

What? They're pretty!

Annoying -- I have a missed call on my cell from a number I don't recognise. I'm trying to suppress the OCD that'd lead me to call it back.

You don't want to call it back.

Uhng. Dubious mouse still on balcony. It's gotta be dying. I've done dispatch before, but I'm not sure it is necessary. Of course, if it gets back in again....

Tried to go to an open house but it was a misprint and isn't until later in the week. (msbelle, it was a street over from Yolando with the pretty white glassed in porches on rowhouses and lots and lots of flowers.) Wandered around Clyburn and took pretty pictures I just sent to my mom

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Sooooooo ignoring the mouse talk. Mice don't exist. Lalalalalalalalalala.

I'm going dress shopping! Really soon. Also, I have a headache. I'm hoping Excedrin and shopping will make it go away.

sarameg - May 08, 2005 1:01:51 pm PDT #2301 of 10001

You CAN keep pretending they don't exist, Alibelle. I only wish it were true. Or that they never came inside.

I'm hoping Excedrin and shopping will make it go away.

OK, the former makes sense but the latter? Of course, you are looking forward to shopping which means you are a different creature than I.
