I get that all the time, Jesse.
My favorite was the letter from the alumni association of my law school that they sent out about three months after graduation.

It would totally crack me up to be like Jesse Chang, and have people totally all the time think I was a Chinese American dude.
In theory that would crack me up.
I get people calling me by my last name thinking it's my first. And then they have trouble spelling my last name. The UPS guy knows my name, but we always get different Fed Ex guys and they invariablly come back to look at my name plate.
Jesse, please marry a man surnamed ... say ... Ngoma and take his name.

SO FUN.
In theory.
ita, my fingers are crossed that it's not serious. Mayhap the tinnitus comes from blows to the head? That's not meant to be sarcastic at all; I've heard that boxers often complain about it.
Most people don't properly pronounce my last name. It's only four letters, but they automatically assume that it sounds the same as a particular actress's first name. Wrong language, folks.
I've had the tinnitus since way before doing contact martial arts.
Is it two eh/ay sounds, Maria?

Blech. I can't even imagine how annoying it is....
Is it two eh/ay sounds, Maria?
It's closer to two "eh" sounds, if it's to be pronounced the Italian way. When it was Americanized, it ended up as "navy."
Sumi, i'm happy it made you bwah. But wtf with him taking over all aspects of her life. Including Marissa obsession.
Speaking of great names, I'm personally leaning towards a loving relationship with Zoila Baca, cause pronounced correctly in Spanish brings in the laughter.
