Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yoda I am not.

Punishingly Intricate

They made me take a car service and for some unknown reason I was talkative to a stranger (the driver)

Hah! This is how my friend ended up sleeping with a cabbie/Tunisian rapper. /something else I don't remember...former pro soccer player maybe?

terrifying.

I am now resolved to wear the annoyed face of scorn and hate whenever I have to deal with stangers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd be all over kissing krav boys tonight, except -- no krav. Shucks.

Mmm. Tunisian rappers.

Awesome. You should get great service in restaurants and a great new job!

My new shirt smells funny. But I'm going to wear it anyway.

Just keep calling them jackhole.

Also? Cabbies are always giving me their cards because I can be a) an incessant chatterbox when in the right mode and b) it is apparently a good way to get reliable business around here. So I don't find it that freaky. And yes, I have called the same cabbies on occasion. The ones that take the really short routes (for which I tip them mightily and it still ends up cheaper than the looong route.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

except -- no krav

Did the world just end?

No one ever tells me anything.

What is even happening?

I'm glad fainting day isn't followed by krav night. Kissing is okay, though if they're good kisses (and why bother if they're not), maybe you ought to be sitting down.

Oh yeah, I wish I could get a cabbie's card! A bunch of yellow cab drivers live in my neighborhood, and how convenient would THAT be?

in all honesty - giving me his # is a way to cut out the car service he works for. he could just take my payments as straight cash and not give them a cut.

Jesse - no need to be a smartass. everyone knows that social strangers are different than work strangers. diffferent rules.

ok, ita - why not use a few of those #s in your cell phone that are just sitting there. hmmmm.
