Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

My mom used to make cupcakes using ice cream cones to hold the batter instead of cupcake wrappers. Good stuff.

These are the best. My mom made these for me to take to Kindergarden for my birthday about 20years ago. I loved the decorating. (The bad thing? The day I was supposed to take them to school I got the chicken pox and had to stay home. The good thing? My mom brought a tape recorder to school and taped everyone singing Happy Birthday to me. Awww.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Jesse- Alan Rosenberg is married to Marge Helgenberger--they've been together for almost 20 years, I think., He's also a very good actor. He plays a guy who picks her up in a bar...and then lots of stuff happens (It's a good ep, I think you'll like it.)

In school news, crap. I'm supposed to be doing a literature review, and just realized that what I'm actually doing is an annotated bibliography. BUT! I emailed the professor to ask if it was OK! Am feeling proud of myself, since I hardly ever email the professor.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I missed the episode of CSI in question. Is the guy the same guy who had that long ER episode all about him, in which he was slowly dying of heart failure and his family was trying to get to Chicago from Cleveland before he croaked en fin? That guy?

Because I always liked him.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Both of the other departmental assistants are out today, and so I am doing 3 people's jobs, including all the billing crap using annoying proprietary software that I haven't touched in 6 months.

Someone kill me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Doesn't baking the icecream cone burn it?

Nope. The moisture from the batter keeps the cone from burning. Or so I assume.
