Moldering in cave...sounds like a plan.
Okay, not so much. But...cozy. And fun, what with imaginary friends in the lighted box, and books, and cat, and, and....
Okay. Walks outside are good too. But yeah, work.

So what do famous folks and their hangers-on do in clubs? Do they dance with the hoi polloi or just lurk in the VIP section and feel fabulous?
What little experience I have with this indicates that certain celebrity types like to find cool little out of the way bars that feel "real" (whatever that means in Hollywood). They like a good jukebox and ambience and want to just hang with their friends. The bar has to have a cool enough clientele that they won't be bothered for autographs. And inevitably they kind of hit and run - they either visit one place for a month or so and discard it, or they only return to that place on an irregular basis. (Note: Survey sample size limited to Sean Penn and Nicholas Cage, who frequent the Tosca Cafe in North Beach (Sean) and The Saturn Club in New Orleans (Nic).)

Everytime Mr. H has had them in there's NSM with the hangers-on. There is no VIP* section so they're pretty much just sitting around with everyone else or playing pool, or whatever. Mostly they're either ignored or chatted with.
*The exception is the party for some of the Mavs who got the basketball court blocked off for them.
Took a while to respond because of work stuff. How y'all doing?
Now, Muldering in a cave sounds fun.
The Saturn Club in New Orleans
Also known as a hang-out for Tom Waits. The main things I remember about it are the cockroaches in the cashew machine and the oddball junk I had to step over to get to the men's room.

All in all, I'd rather be Scullying.
Don't jaguars darken as they grow up? And still have to rosette pattern in the black?
( I can't keep my cats straight AT ALL.Panthers. Jaguars. Leopards? Huh.)

Who, from what I've heard, doesn't much appreciate being approached by fans, but has been known to strike up random conversations with the person next to him at the bar (not at this place, but in general).
Which quite possibly would be the coolest way to meet Tom Waits (and pretty much the only way I'd ever want to talk to him unless I was formerly introduced - I've got a real thing about not approaching people who I'm a fan of).
OK, now I get it: leopard=cat from asian & african continents. jag=south american. panther= a black coated jag OR leopard. Panther is not a species, just refers to color. I think.
