Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

And there was nothing new. Take out the high gas prices references and he could have given the same opening statement 6 months ago. I get why he did it, but ya gotta have something or nobody will care.

I watched part of that press conference, and I'll tell you exactly what it was about, or at least what it felt like it was about to me -- scolding us (and in turn, those of our elected representatives who are not toe-ing the line) for not doing what he wants us to do.

That, and making some not-so-subtle digs at anybody who thinks differently from him.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Jack on Lost wasn't supposed to be a regular? Wow.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Andy Sipowicz was supposed to die on NYPD Blue.

Gunther on Friends was an extra and got the barista gig because he knew how to work an espresso machine.

Wasn't Nurse Hathaway supposed to die or be rendered vegetative from her nasty overdose in the ER pilot?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Andy Sipowicz was supposed to die on NYPD Blue.

That's pretty funny! How far in?

Damn. Andy spent too much of his life around bullets. He got shot, his son and wife died from gunshot wounds....

Always Anti-fascist!

Being Andy's friend, partner, lover, dry-cleaner is hazardous to your health. I love that character but if he was a person? I'd cross the street to avoid him till the book comes out.

He should start dating Jessica Fletcher.
