[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Well, I'll take your word on the in-person-ness of the Voice.
I bow to meara on this...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"So, I have this lesbian friend, and I promised her if she did her laundry, I'd ask you what it was like to have a sex scene with Gina Gershon...".

Oh, she was pretty free with the inside information. I don't think it would be that hard to find out about Gina's kissability.

move out and draw fire

You know, so many of my environmental ethics have been compromised recently that I'll probably start using aerosols soon.

I bring this up because I was just out looking for the pregnant cat who lives here, as she's gonna burst any minute and I'm worried about her. I tried to round up all the cats back in November and have them fixed, but wasn't able to find a vet who would fix female kittens...and then the neighbor yelled at me anyway, as it's "not natural." So now there are going to be more ownerless cats (they aren't exactly feral) to get sick or injured and die.

But I know this cat's going to whelp soon - not only does she look like a snake that's eaten an elephant, but yesterday I was putting Mal into his car seat and chattering at him, and he responded "Mew." So I asked, "Baby?" and again he said, "Mew." I pulled my head out of the car and said "Cat?" and heard "Mew" from under the car. So I turned the garage lights on and kneeled down and Pregnant Cat came running out from under my car, jumped into my arms, and started purring like a fiend. I guess she'd gone into the garage looking for a place to have her kittens and gotten trapped; not sure how long she'd been there.

If she survives this birth I'm fixing her. We've 8 cats in the backyard anyway.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Poor kitty!

Gronk. Just finished an hour and a half of work. With any luck, I'll be able to work for another three or four hours during the day.

I think I've given up on this sleep thing. Naps. Frequent naps. That'll do for now. Though I admit to being cranky today despite my nap when Paul kept dozing off this evening, on account of having taken the entire Sunday night/Monday morning shift and letting him sleep. Once I finally got my evening nap, I was willing to concede that he had every right to still be tired, even if he didn't have to get up in the middle of the night.

Oh, Raquel! Poor kitty! Poor kitties!

Hope you got some sleep, Plei.

I am up at this crazy hour, because I have a Psychology final at 8am. Yippy!

Sleep? Sleep?

I've been enjoying my me-time, but I fear I will have to give up and crash shortly.

but I fear I will have to give up and crash shortly.

Understandably so!

I have gone through the study sheet for the exam today (yes...I basically waited till this morning to study). There are only a few definitions that I couldn't easily define, and even less concepts that I couldn't easily explain to myself.

There were parts of this course that were tough to get a handle on, but because of that, some of the information felt like it was beat into us. So, I have a pretty good grasp of the material, which is good. I figured I wouldn't need much studying after the two days of review in class last week - I knew everything we were talking about. I had to resist raising my hand to answer every question that she asked :)

exam-ma, oh bugalicious one!

I think I've given up on this sleep thing. Naps. Frequent naps. That'll do for now.

You adapt. Or at least, I've adapted. Mostly. I now no longer thirst for 8 straight hours of sleep the way a bum thirsts for Thunderbird. I'm happy, nay, thrilled, with 4 hours together. And I'm finally completely functional while awake, something I haven't been since the second trimester.

Of course, I do occasionally just shut down at random times and wake up an hour later, but I did that before Mal also, although usually only at work. And Mal is sleeping 6-7 hours straight at night now (oh wonderful child!) So it gets better.

Robert's doing less well. He sort of vapor-locked last night. Of course, he was reading his assignment at the time:

"In order to prepare your learning plan, you should address the following questions:

    • What are your goals?
    • Whom are you now?
    • "

This school emphasizes accuracy and grammatical correctness over and over, and besides errors in the print materials, they've misspelled "Curriculum" on their website.

(Now I'm sure I've misspelled everything in this post, since I usually do while bagging on other people.)

Oh my. I am done with my exam. And I was trying SO hard to go slowly and not be the first one done. Oh well. Didn't work.

It was EASY, though!
