No, it's shiny! I like to meet new people. They've all got stories...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Betsy, are you saying Goth's going to call you home, unless we send in enough money to buy you that tiara?

If I only had a brain...

Hee.

Hellbound Equal-Opportunity Nookie Hog

This feels like a really silly question to ask, but when it came up in conversation with my husband last night, I realized that the Bitches were probably the best people to ask.

What, if any, is the etymology of "breasticles"?

Former company has redeemed themselves. They feel terrible about this mistake. I don't have to pay my COBRA any more (through July when I'm being cut off of that), and I'm supposed to call him next week with an update on the job situation. If I don't have one, they're going to try to work something else out.

Thank God for the little things.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Wow, vw! That's not little by any means.

Well, no. It's not little. It's just, I'd resigned myself to nothing, so... But, you're right. It's not little. They're being really wonderful.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Glad to hear it, vw.

vw, that's wonderful! Your former employers are quite the humans.

How many people did she invite?

400-ish. And yes, they were warned about the capacity of the church.

ION, Annabel is still loving Sesame Street. She's watching a Tivoed episode all about playing catch. Lots of baseball references, and Joe Torre just showed up. She doesn't have the attention span to do nothing but watch, but every time she notices she grins and laughs.

Art Crawl!!!

OMG!

And all but 50 are coming?

(I've just had this terrible thought -- my cousin's eldest is getting married soonish and word is that the wedding is out of control. They are in the Seattle area. What horrors if this is my cousin's daughter.)

Doubtful. I wouldn't quite describe the wedding as out of control. They're just trying hard for a very big wedding on what seems like a very small budget. And both are from local families and are seniors at a local college, so lots of people are coming--in contrast to my wedding, where we invited over 200 and had about 75, since so many of them were obligatory invites to family back home we knew wouldn't make it.
