Yes -- classic ep. Though not for those without a sense of humor about their religion.
I loved it so much it took me forever to pick out which line to tag! My choice (for posterity, "Now dance, you heavenly gobs!") narrowly beat out Homer's reaction to the pancake supper.

Ok...pardon my paranoia for a bit, but someone is on the roof. I'm sure it's the landlord, but still. I'm a little jumpy.

That makes me jumpy, too. I have so little between my ceiling and the roof, a large enough squirrel running across gets my attention.
Bitches are NAFDA.
Not white-fonted after it airs in the East Coast.
I think that originally we understood him to be what you said -- missing girl's ex-boyfriend. And then there was this sea-change. I'm not entirely sure what brought it about. It could just be one of those things.
I'm feeling really bummed.

Let's hope the person on the roof isn't jumpy.
The roof thing that gets to me is the ladder to roof transition. I always feel like I'm going to tip over the ladder.
I'm sorry Gud. (ETA, re the bummed thing. Your ladder issues seem perfectly reasonable to me.)
We have the most adorable new intern! I just met her doing filing things. She has long hair that starts off blond, and about halfway down goes into a mix of hot-pink and pure black strands. So nifty. She's wearing old jeans with a sparkly belt. And I saw a drawstring bag that was a patchwork of pink and white gingham and black squares with white skulls near where she was working that I'm certain is hers.
Gud, you've been under a *lot* of domestic stress, lately. Are you seeing a counselor or anybody that you can talk to about all this? Is there any possible time you can take off from your job, housework, and child care for yourself, to see a professional?
I think you're dealing remarkably well with all the stresses your family is going through. But I also think you need to be able to talk about your frustrations and disappointments with someone who's not going to be partisan or judgemental, who will let you say what you feel like saying and not make value judgements. And who may just be able to give you some new coping skills. Because it sounds to me like you're dealing with an awful lot, and because I think a lot of you, I urge you to find the time, and somebody to talk to about all this.
For the record, Deena is the coolest EVAH!
