Lilty, Lilty, Lilty. . . you are behind. We've gone from thinking that Zack/Dana is Mike's son to thinking he might be Mike's nephew.
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oops.
Well what the fuck did he think you were asking, when you said "when does my disability insurance run out?"
He thought I was asking about COBRA health insurance, which is weird, since I had sent him an e-mail asking about COBRA the week before. He still has the e-mail, though, so he could see what I asked. He knows he messed up, but what can he do? Rules are rules.
He should have understood the question before giving a date, then.
Yeah, really. And I doubt there's much of a chance of this falling in my favor. He's going to call the insurance company to check the policies, but...
There should be some kind of... I don't know, responsibility. Argh.
I suppose it's not feasible to say, "Well, you're the one that got it wrong, so you'll have to come up with the money for the next couple months," though.
he might be Mike's nephew.
What? How would that work?
I suppose it's not feasible to say, "Well, you're the one that got it wrong, so you'll have to come up with the money for the next couple months," though.
No, not really. Although, I'm laying no the guilt pretty thick. Nicely, of course, but its' still pretty thick.
In other more pleasant news, I had e-mailed my creative writing prof a poem that he never got back to me and asked him to comment on it. I just got this response:
I seem to have inadvertently deleted your message/attachment from my inbox--and then I emptied my trash. I must have just kept on clicking "delete" as I mowed down the latest crop of spam. My apologies. By now you may be headed to the bindery anyway. Anyway, I expect that the poem will measure up to the rest of your fine and comitted work during the semester. . . .
That made me feel good.
Keep the pressure up. If they said they're going to pay until July then they better pay. Especially with something this important.
Money problems suck!
vw, I'm so sorry. Your former boss sounds like a nice enough guy who's doing his best to find you a loophole, but he is still a dope for making a mistake that has no consequences for him but consequences aplenty for you. Stoopidhead.
If he's the missing woman's brother.
This was being discussed on another board (WX) -- based on Susan's meeting with the missing woman's sister.
