sj, many good thoughts and ~ma headed towards your nephew in Boston. my friend's son with the HLHS was operated on in Boston, and he's doing great. There are some talented pediatric cardiac surgeons there.

sj, I was going to say that Boston has one of the best programs around (in fact, Boston Children's and UCSF are constantly attempting to poach pediatric cardiologists from each other), but Sparky already said it -- so, I will just vibe much much much -ma to your nephew, with a large dose of wisdom and steady hands to everyone in the OR.
