In the choice between a bad pantry or a good freezer, I'd go with good freezer, too. I have a bad pantry and a bad freezer, so I just buy what I need when I need it. I need to have an offbeat gift delivered to an old college friend in Santa Fe Springs (SoCal) tomorrow. Birthday.
She was the avante one among us then, now not so much, but still a great wit, well traveled, artsy quilter, extremely well-read, childless by choice, bird and cat loving.
