Dawn: I feel safe with you. Spike: Take that back!

'First Date'

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aww, thanks so much for the hugs, everyone. Consider them returned with interest. It's good to be here.

Sorry to hear about the accident, sj, those can really shake a person up, even when no one is hurt. How sweet is Teacup guy to be so concerened about you? Very sweet. Car~ma to him.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

{{t}} I'm very glad to see you too. Much peace~ma to you.

sj, very sorry about the accident. I'm glad no one was hurt. Poor TCG, much car~ma to him.

I just talked to my little sister. She's clean and sober and now living in Santa Rosa, CA. The world is weird, sometimes. She sounds very happy. She's also job hunting, so if anyone's got ideas I'd be very glad to hear them.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, for your sister, Deena! How are you today?

Sorry to hear about the accident, sj.

Poor Teacup Guy. Poor sj. I'm glad no one is hurt, but I'm sorry for the trauma.

It's good to see you, -t.

I'm okay, sj. The babies and I went outside and played with the big ball (it's almost as big as Aidan), and now they're napping. It was fun. I think I'm going to go nap myself, now.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

So very good to see you, -t. You and your DH have been in everyone's thoughts.

Eeek, sj, glad you weren't hurt, and I hope Teacup Guy will forgive me for thinking he's just unbearably sweet and adorable for being all protective and anxious and worried for you.

Kristin's mom does indeed sound like the Best Evah.

And now, back to the salt mines.

Thanks, JZ. I happen to think he is the sweetest, most adorable guy ever, but I am a bit biased.

I forgot to post ~ma for Emmett. I am so sorry to hear that he needs surgery. How are you and Hec holding up?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm fine, but Hec and Emmett's mom are both rather wrecked. Emmett is his usual sassy cheerful self; he's in no pain at all and he's not worried about tomorrow. I'm not either, so much; my boss the doctor gave me a mini-lecture on the intricacies of pediatric short-term anesthesia that completely erased my only real worry, and I can't imagine that anything anyone does to Emmett will make him one whit less handsome than his very handsome self.
