I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Speaking of things medical, does anyone know if taking more Benedryl (or generics thereof) than listed as a dose would be terribly harmful? I take it at night, so the drowsiness thing wouldn't matter. The standard dose just isn't clearing up my allergies as well as I'd like anymore.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Wacoal bras I bought after my fitting fit so well that I soon threw out all the VS bras. They were pretty, but dude. I'm choosing pretty breasts over pretty bras. Though I refuse to buy any in beige. They look like the undies equivalent of old school nurse's shoes.

Signed, Does. Not. Like. Needles.

Honestly, with your eyes closed, you'd not know what was happening. Unlike my ortho surgeon, who treats me with a novocaine/steroid injection -- to make sure he's putting it where it's needed the most, he wiggles the needle around until he gets a maximal pain reaction. Which from me Monday was much like "Yeah. Yeah. There. Oh! Hahahaha! Oh, dear."

Works, though.

You can take 2 without any problem other than extreme drowsiness. Physicians routinely give 2 benadryls to hospitalized patients who get agitated or violent.

It's my understanding that it's pretty hard to do yourself damage with Benedryl, but taking more might mean you get the opposite of drowsy and start bouncing off the walls.

Which, when I take it, would kinda be a plus. So yay--thanks!

Or, possibly, not. Still, thanks--good to know!

Hmmm. I'll have to experiment on a weekend night to see if this'll be doable.

Punishingly Intricate

I'm wearing a new black, lacy Wacoal RIGHT NOW! (aifg)

Felina also makes some really pretty ones that work for my DDs pretty well.

I've discovered that Benedryl and it's relatives are an absolute impossibility if I've had even a small glass of wine. I'm up all night twitching.

Addendum: when I say 2, I mean 2 pills that are 25 mg each, for a total of 50 mg. I don't know what dosage the generic version is available in.

Dude, I just got blocked trying to go to the Felina site. That ain't right.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think I need this:

Garnier's new Manga Head styling putty will apparently enable you to "create your own superhero hair." From Garnier Beauty Bar:

1) Using your fingers, spread Manga Head, throughout your hair

2) Take sections of the hair, twisting them into defined spikes

3) Pull the spikes sideways and across the hair for that asymmetric manga style
