Shit's all sorts of different now.

Call your insurance, and ask what sort of well baby care is covered,

I did. They cover up to $100. Per year. That's it. I went through that the first appointment after we got out of the hospital. They'll cover the vaccines and a $20 administration fee for the baby to get them. That's it. THey suck.

What is even happening?

Sorry. Xpost. They do suck.

No big. X-Posty goodness.

$100!! For well-baby visits??? WTF?? I mean, granted, I'm new to this mom stuff, but that's ludicrous, right?

edited to correct the spelling. Rappers have nothing to do with this issue.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm new to this mom stuff, but that's ludacris, right?

Word. Fifty cent sounds better.

every single one of my prenatal visits was covered. Every. Single. One.

They are just like drug dealers. Lured you in with the promise of free visits, and now that you are addicted to the baby toes/smiles/giggles -- WHAM!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Aims, that's ridiculous. I wish I could share my insurance benefits with you. {{{}}}

I'm supposed to be working from home but not much work is happening. Kick me in the ass, please.

Because books.

That's insane. Our insurance isn't great, but it covers checkups. Although I will say I think things have changed -- when Jake was a baby, thirteen long years ago, he had a checkup every month. With Sara, the peds office routinely schedules them every *three* months, and I think it may be because most insurance doesn't pay for more than that.

Boobies are very nice. Bras, however, are not.

Our insurance isn't great, but it covers checkups.

My Uncle, who is 76, recently discovered that the new Medicare arrangement no longers covers a yearly physical. He now has to pay out of pocket for that.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's cheaper to be sick than it is to stay healthy.
