Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

Mostly lurking...

vw - yay for the last day of classes! It always feels so great to be done.

It does! My dad actually called a little while ago. He was a little too chipper for my morning tastes, but he was just SO excited for me. It was kinda cute.

I'm not actually *done*, although, I think I'll be able to trick my brain into thinking that I'm done. I still have finals week...which means, one final and two final projects due. I'm not worried about them, though, and actually kind of looking forward to them.

iPod: you're mine, dude!

Our wings are not tired.

Mine were about A- before the boys. They barely grew at all when pregnant, but whoa momma when my milk came in. The look on DH's face when he saw them was priceless. Where did they come from!?! I haven't approached my BC weight so I don't know if I will go back to being flat chested again. I don't think so, but it matters not to me. They have been a pretty shape, IMO, both when tiny and now.

What is even happening?

Those two little girls who went missing and were found dead around Mother's Day? The father of one of them has been charged. [link]

I don't think they've built a jailhouse that could keep him safe from me, were that my child.

Trust my rage

Another weird thing about dinner last night:

Neighbor calls me at 5 asking if I want to come to dinner at 6. I say yes, but then she calls at 5:45 asking if I can come at 6:30. I say sure.

Now the only other time I've spent time with these people was dinner at their house about 2 weeks ago. Same thing happened - first 5:30, then 6:15. When I arrived at 6:15, the wife still wasn't home. I talked to the husband, but it was a bit awkward because I had just met him and barely knew his wife.

So last night, I leave my house at 6:35 and arrive there at about 6:37. I walk in and wife says, come on back, we've already started eating becuase the food was getting cold. Ok... So, then in a moment of panic, I wonder if I made a mistake about the time, so I ask "you did say 6:30, right?" and the husband replies "yes, but it's now 6:45" (which it was about 6:42 by then, but still...)

The whole thing made me feel like I'd been a bad guest, and bugged me.

move out and draw fire

Stephanie, that's just weird...bad hosts, not bad guest. Between their rudeness at starting without you and her comment about your figure, I think I might forego accepting future invitations. (But I'm like that.)

Hi Cindy! I saw that headline in Yahoo! but I can't even read the article. Just too nasty.

Very wierd. Not going to get the host with the most award. You are not only not a bad guest, you are amazing for not being pissed.

When I have guests for dinner I usually suggest they arrive about whatever time and plan to eat some time later. Not walk in the door and sit at the table and eat.

Hi Raquel! Big hug! So good to see you have access again. You have been missed.

Yeah, me too. It was rather strange. Oh well, in a few more weeks I will have the worlds greatest excuse not to socialize when I'm not interested.

Raquel, so glad you are back on the Internet. how's Mal doing?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

RAQUEL!!

I was going to do the same for each of the morning crew, then remembered that I am not a morning person.

What is even happening?

Hi Raquel. I know. I could only skim the report.

It's so great to have you back online. How is everything? Have you heard any more on the job? How's your baby sleeping?

Laura, I read about your son's award. That's so cool.

Hi Perkins, you morning glory.
