[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Apparantly, my insurance company will cover the vaccinations for Em, but not the doctor to administer them.

Oh, grrrr. It sounds like you have the same sort of stupid insurance company I do.

What asses. They count on you loving your daughter and choosing to pay the doctor rather than watch Em contract measels, mumps and/or rubella. And then they go make a boat payment with the money they didn't have to spend, and the premiums you've paid.

Special Hell!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Although, come to think of it. My ped NEVER actually administers shots. He lets the nurse/assistant do that. I think this is so the kids don't associate the doc with the shots or something.

Fuck your insurance company, Aims.

ION -- I. RULE.

The showerhead over here has been having major problems, becoming a piddle-stream too weak to wash any suds off or anything.

A week ago, I unscrewed the front part, in front of a sliding on-off switch, and cleared some debris out of there which I though fixed the problem. This morning as I was taking a shower, the stream became piddle-weak again, vexing me greatly as I was using it at the time. I unscrewed the head again, but there was no debris. I could kind of make out something around the switch, but thought I'd have to uncaulk the head to get back there, so I just finished my weak shower and decided to worry about it later.

This afternoon, I went back to try and clear it out again, took the head off, and gave the rest of it a twist just for giggles. Lo and behold, a second section of the head came unscrewed from its ball joint, and I was able to easily clear out a massive wad of plastic-like debris that was blocking the switch section. Now the shower is even better than the last time I "fixed" it.

The shower head is now officially my bitch.

Sean, could you come over to my house and make my shower head your bitch? It really needs it.

Owen is still dubious about the whole bicycle helmet thing.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Our dr never administers them, either. But he checks her out before to make sure she's reaching her milestones, etc.
