Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

vw, have you picked out an engraving yet? I didn't have any ideas, but I think this particular iPod deserves to engraved with something. You have worked so hard for it and I'm thrilled that it is so close. I'm sure being done with classes will feel great too.

Mostly lurking...

Stephanie, I'm starting to lean towards "vw: the bug that could" and then my cell phone number on line two. I still haven't totally decided...

And thanks!

What is even happening?

I won't get further into the argument - just mention that what Cindy said was not so cut and dried is itself not so cut and dried
Oh, absolutely. That's what I meant at the end by saying that when I think I understand it, that's a pretty good indication I don't.

I want there to be peace. And I want people to stop raising their children to hate one another. And I want the common person to be able to live his or her life in freedom and without fear.

Also? I want a pony.

Always Anti-fascist!

"class protector" IJS. Hee, y'all, some women on lj are setting up a community that sounds a lot like "Bayliss' Bitches". I had to laugh.

Scary moment with Leif this weekend. I went downstairs a few minutes to throw out some trash and start a CD burning on my computer, thinking the kids were pretty well set playing. As I'm getting ready to come upstairs, my daughter comes running to get me, telling me Leif is doing something bad. I get there and he is worming his way out of a second story window over the driveway! Yikes. I fixed the screen and set a new rule that only the kitchen windows may be open. I think the A/C may be on a little sooner this year.

I love this!

I am online! In the morning! And leaving in about ten minutes for work but I suddenly *needed* to find a song online and put it on my iPod. See? Even topical...

Oh Gud, how frightening...

Off to see how Monday turns out.

After I put on a shirt.

If I only had a brain...

Gud, are your windows double-hung? For a couple of years we opened ours from the top and installed window locks to hold them in that position.

Gud, are your windows double-hung?

Nope. I might be able to put a nail in the sill to limit the amount a window can open. But then there isn't all that much airflow.

iTunes has failed me. I shall weep. And go to work.

Can children be embedded with special alarms that start to wail when they think about doing something dangerous? Maybe a light tranq as well. How very very scary.
