I need some sanity~ma for Mom. She's on the phone with her sister and evidentally there brother did somethign -- said something -- about Mom's last visit (when she went up there for a week to take care of G'ma's house). Also my other aunt, who promised to go up for a week to relieve my fav aunt of taking care of G'ma, has backed out. Because of her dog.

As much sanity~ma as I've got is headed towards askye's mom.

I need to be working on my psych paper. But I don't wanna.

I also need to write my proposal for my Independent Study for next semester. I'm not sure what to write. But, he wants it soon. So, I need to do it.

Boy, contentless content, that I am.

You're near Mpls, right? Or not?

South of Minneapolis about 60 miles, depending on where in the twin Cities you stand.

(The Buffista map link is busted.)

Bummer.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen has finally settled on a naptime. He's ditched mornings completely and goes down right after lunch. Hopefully, he'll decide he needs two whole hours in the afternoon so I can get things done.

Yesterday, he tried to steal a sippy cup from a little girl in $30 Hannah Anderson leggings sitting in a $300 Peg Perego stroller. Her mother looked appalled. I got it away from him (making him cry and throw a fit in the process). I really like our neighborhood park but it's just a weird vibe. Two of the parents were talking on their cell phones while pushing their kids on the swings.

While I push my Graco (the Honda Accord of the stroller world) and O's in mismatched Old Navy t-shirt and shorts.

My park is only a block and a half away from the governor's mansion but we live in the barest fringe of the neighborhood and have a short drive/bike ride to get there.

It's definitely...provocative. It's the colors, more than anything else. I'm thinking if the sky had been blue, certain ideas wouldn't, um, pop into mind so quickly.

Well. the red sun is the symbol on the Japanese flag, so maybe they were trying to tie it all together like that. Still. HILARIOUS that nobody noticed until it was on the internet.

Found out that my cousin (son of leaast favorite aunt) got his girlfriend pregant. My cousin is 31. His girlfriend just turned 18. He swears up and down they didn't do anything until she turned 18. My aunt seems more upset because there's now no hope that he'll reconcile with his psychotic ex.

With that kind of description, I'm surprised it wasn't a nanny that was there.
