you're supposed to take your math requirement before you have 20 credits. I came in with 20 credits, so... I don't know what happens with that...
My advice? Don't ask. Just do what's right for you. Pre-Calc is really important to get right. My sister the math prof advised me to take it only when I could give it my attention because the biggest problem she has with people in Calc is that they don't remember their pre-calc alegebra.
And, woot! yipee! yahoo! way to go! on not having any incompletes!
(sorry for all of the exclamation points. I'm just excited about that.)
As you should be! You're ending the semester free and clear, without any baggage to pull you down or to haunt you when you start your next classes with a clean slate.
I could take it for seven hundred years and probably never get it. If I go to Hell instead of Special Hell that is what it'll be.

Thank you! I really am thrilled about this. Kind of can't believe it's happening.
Oh, and I just wasted 20 minutes on Craigslist looking for possible job leads. There's actually one in my neighborhood that could be perfect [link] I'll have to write a cover letter and get the resume off when I get home.
ETA: Off to class. Thanks for keeping me company!
You know what's not so nice? Having most of your dept. out while you have to work on Friday. The Friday that is the day before your birthday. Which none of said dept. members remembered. Grrr...
happy early birthday, GC!!
Also? My husband is funny. regarding the time travelling convention link I posted upthread, he wrote:
I did hear about the time traveller's convention. That's some crazy shit. No time traveller is going to show up - it's obviously a trap! MIT wants to bop them on the head and steal their time machines. It's what I'd do!
Yo, Aims! How the hell are you?
ETA: Thanks, Nora :)

I'm good, pretty birthday girl! You still going to Japan?
Thanks for all child-with-fever tips, Cindy!
I finally got Annabel down around 3:00. She woke up again at 4:00, but DH took her and brought her back at 6:00. She's still asleep now (as is DH--I really ought to wake him so he can call in sick to work), so we'll see how she feels once she's awake.
