[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

Timelies!

A full day with nothing I have to do - I may not even leave the house.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronklies.

Today's the last day of classes. I went to teach my 8AM class, and only one student showed up. (I wasn't really expecting more.) I've got another class to teach at 9:30, and I'm expecting about the same turnout. Right now, I'm trying to decide whether to go get coffee. I'm thinking it might be a good idea.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Coffee is always a good idea. I'm flinging ~ma cassward while mine brews.

My chest is all congested and my throat hurts this morning. This makes me very unhappy.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Happy CINCO DE MAYO!

(May 5 also = the day that Tom threw caution to the wind and kissed me, all out of the blue like that, three years ago!)

Timelies!

Deena, I hope your headache is all gone. Maybe it’s passed on to me.

Clearly peope will have already shook the sense into you (as I am catching up from the last 24 hours still) but, vw, you are such an amazing friend, especially to J.

Thanks, you. Thanks, everyone. I knew I was distorting things, but I just couldn’t get it out of my head. Everyone really helped last night.

Also ~ma for Cass!

Hee!

Stephanie, I don’t think I said CONGRATULATIONS! yesterday. So many congrats headed your way! I can’t wait till the day I can say that about school.

Awwww…more lovely schmoopy Tom and Nora stories. What a nice way to start the day.

Yesterday at my research methods class we broke into groups to discuss the studies we are using for our research paper. I have a pretty firm grasp on mine, so we spent the time talking about the other four girls' projects. I was a big help (I’ve always been kind of a leader in our group, ‘cause I have a pretty firm grasp on the material…my prof knows this and asked me to be a peer tutor. I didn’t want to take that on this semester, but I may be a tutor next semester). Anyway, I gave the girls my e-mail address to offer help if they ran into more questions while they were working on their projects. I’ve already heard from two of them. This is fun. I just hope I don’t steer them in the wrong direction.

What is even happening?

Happy smoochie day, Nora!

Really.
Too bad, they're not virtually your nextdoor neighbors.

Hi and goodbye. I'm late. I'm late. And started the day that way.

Thrive to spite them

Grandma E called me this morning at work, she's been out of town and she wanted to say she's glad that I wasn't dead (not her exact words).

But also that she's aiming to be moved out by the 14th. As in NEXT Saturday.

Granted I'm not holding my breath but in 2 weeks from now I could be in my own place. TWO WEEKS!!

And then y'all are going to have to endure hearing about how my house loves carrots. And pictures.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Yay, askye! Given how I've been talking about the new place, I'm hardly going to complain about you bragging about yours. I like listening to other people get all giddy about the good things that are happening to them.

askye, that's wonderful! How exciting. I'm looking forward to hearing about how your house loves carrots.
