Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

J just left. We had a nice, low-key time...got some Chinese food and chatted. She loved her present. It was actually something she had looked at and thought about buying. She didn't stay long, because she was really worn out from her day. But, she said she had a really nice birthday, and she's going to stop by sometime next week when I'm studying for finals to give me a break (which tells me that my house must not have horrified her too much).

Yay, vw! I am glad you had a good evening.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

See vw, sounds lovely.

Good luck with finals, BTW.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That sounds like a lovely time, vw.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I am hopelessly earwormed with a song from the Wicked soundtrack ("Dancing Through Life").

My head is totally stuffed up. I think perhaps it's full of dirty gym socks.

A new freelance gig just landed in my e-mail inbox, which is good, b/c it means $$ for me.

Welcome to the stream-of-consciousness that is my brain.

Erin, what a bunch a fuckos. Good to hear you still get the certificate, though.

vw, sounds like tonight was just what both of you needed, lowkey and low stress. Glad you both enjoyed it.

Katie, much job~ and calm~ma.

askye, may-everything-fall-into-place~ma for the car.

sj, sorry to hear the new meds are making you sort of loopy. Here's hoping they smooth out soon.

ImemeN, I finally filed a claim with my car insurance for the damage done the the car by the dumpster back in December. Just knowing the car is finally going to be fixed has put me in a very good, very accomplished feeling mood. I also got condo insurance while I was there. Good deal, my monthly premiums only went up by $5 because I get a discount on my auto insurance for also having condo insurance through them. Should have done it yonks ago. Ah, well, it's done now and I feel much relief knowing I'm properly covered.

Compassionately intolerant

I worked at Cedar Point.

Hee. When I was on the great Peace March, I arranged for us to stay at Cedar Point (It was off season). Very fun.

I can't say I've ever worked at an amusement park, but I've been to Seix Flags, Marriot's and Cedar Point. I probably harassed all of you at some point in time! Hee.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's all Jilli's fault. When Joe asks me what the hell I spent 200+ Pounds on, I'll just give him Jilli's number.

Neat number - I was born in 74!
