Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

I got my grade back for my last incomplete (there were four) yesterday, and it was an A.

Wooooo! That's fantastic.

Edit: Erin, are you sure we don't go to the same school? Because that sounds like something the administration at my school would do, too. I'm so sorry. Can we do anything? Gather up a posse to do some ass-kicking? Call them names and insult their parentage? Name it.

All is well that ends in pizza.

{{{{{{{Erin}}}}}}}

I've been in a similar academic situation.

All I can offer is to find some way to get away from the madness and get some sleep before tackling the bureaucrazy. You are *not* going to get this fixed in the next four days. Resign yourself to that, and deal with everything else going on.

Put all your effort into ignoring it, forceably, and attack the problem next week, when the mess is over.

It may be you can get some satisfaction out of the school, but you won't get it finals week, when everyone around you is freaking like a freaky thing.

Blowing up right now is tempting, but it'll only make your comeback a little more awkward.

Wait. Rest. Bide your time.

That's my advice, FWIW.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Erin, I'm outraged on your behalf.

job-ma for Katerina Bee and hang-in-there-ma for Chloe.

vw, I know your apartment is cleaner than my house. And what others have already said--YOU make it special.

Hey Jen, I'm pleased to hear of your super extra doomed status.

There are other Buffistas on OkCupid? Why does this surprise me? To those who're on it, did anyone else go to a bad place when they read "activity partners"?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Thanks for all the advice. I'll still get my certification, and that's what matters to schools.

Wanna hear some MORE examples of my school's idiocy? I just uploaded my finished portfolio to my reviewer...to find out she reveiwed my FIRST portfolio as my FINAL portfolio....which had exactly TWO changes made to it. Two SMALL changes.

And she gave me all these great marks and told me that I changed everything I needed to change.

Now, it's great to be all officially passed and everything, but what this tell me is...SHE DIDN'T FUCKING READ IT. I had no student examples of work, no new unit plan added, no major changes -- all things I was supposed to have had.

And they weren't there. But evidently, I could have written a treatise on "How to Abuse Kids and Teach Them to Worship Satan" and that would have passed.

FUCKFUCKFUCK

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Aw, fuck, Erin. That's so disheartening. (The not-reading-your-revision thing. The missing-credits thing? Enraging.)

Art Crawl!!!

Doomed Jen is teh cutest.

Does your body adjust to iron supplements such that -- they still work in the adding the much needed iron -- but stop causing the digestive problems after a while?

Because, I do feel better taking the iron supplements (started yesterday and had an immediate improvement in the way I feel) but would love to do without the diarrhea.

What is even happening?

Iron causes the opposite problem for me sumi (and I thought for most people). I would say give it a few days. Also, take the supplements on a full stomach.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

sumi, the effect of iron supplementation is usually the exact opposite; people complain of constipation more than any other side effect. I'd hazard a guess that you're sensitive to some other ingredient in the supplement. If the diarrhea doesn't go away in the next 24 hours, I'd give a call to your doc.
