Xander: Am I right, Giles? Giles: I'm almost certain you're not. Though, to be fair, I haven't been listening.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Erika, isn't the answer to that always yes?

Big-ass meara (though not OUR meara, a meara):

baking soda - read the box. not as good as a perscription - but it helps.
Greg uses baking soda sometimes and it works; also anything carby without triggers. The common triggers are onion, sugar, garlic, chocolate and tomatoes, as I recall.

Deena, insent.
Backflung!

Blank wall, that Arquette chick.

She's a big blank spot for me. Which just proves she can't act, otherwise I'd have watched her.

Hee.

so deena what does Nick do with band -- I am guessing guitar , but does he sing as well?

He plays guitar and may sing backup on some future pieces. The band is well-established in this area. He's their second guitar player. They want to make it big and he thinks they have a chance. A local guy who is somehow big in the music scene and a millionaire (Nick had to repeat that more than twice) met with the band yesterday at his penthouse condo and gave them pointers for hours on what to do to become successful. Nick's assigned persona is "the sexy one". He was a little embarrassed to be told he should stick his ass out more (I'm paraphrasing madly).

Listening to Radikills while catching up on my news pages at 6:30AM confuses my children.

Whee!

Nick's band is fucking awesome!!!!!
If he wins, I want to go see them!
I've linked more than a few people to Nick's BotB site

Thank you! I want to go see them too.

Nick's band sounds good. I've certainly heard way worse on stage. Contest~ma to them. Would playing the songs a couple of more times help?

He did say multiple plays would help. Thanks so much.

Nick's band = fun! Deena, let me know if they ever decide to do a little tour down this way and I'll see if I can get them hooked up.

Lisah, you're a goddess. I'll tell him. He'll be so thrilled.

I was the one who said Wire in the Blood guy could actually act.

AhHAH! I knew it was someone I admire (see how smooth that was?)

GetTheJobSoLongAsItReallyIsAsGoodAsItLooks~ma to Fay, and job & calm~ma to xnera.

Yes. This.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Deena, I was totally honored to be mistaken for ita.

Is there such a thing as you-can-do-it-ma?

Not only is there you-can-do-it-ma, there is even ma-ma. Which sounds like one of those creepy baby dolls that talks.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hee. Well, at least he's up to the challenge.

I'm looking at course schedules, and I think it looks like I'm going to have the following schedule for a month this summer: Monday through Thursday, class 8:15 - 9:45, go to work, class 5-7.

It's not bad, I know -- not to someone with a normal schedule. Thing is, I've been in a funk for so long that even the idea of making it somewhere by 9 every day is daunting -- by 8:15 is just crazy talk. But I don't see how else I'm going to get all the classes done that I need.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Not only is there you-can-do-it-ma, there is even ma-ma. Which sounds like one of those creepy baby dolls that talks.

Add in the rolling eyes and you've got even more creepiness. t shudder
