Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Cincinnati had a band, who went on to minor national exposure, called the Ass Ponys. Heh.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Much Job~ma Fay. I hope the job is all it seems to be.

I like Medium. I like that Arquette's character doesn't juggle everything with ease.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The Assrockers should play a gig with the Ass Ponys, Butthole Surfers and Anal Cunt.

There's also a local group called Bloody Discharge.

They are not, despite what you might think, a chamber orchestra.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I missed the midnight airing of last night's Wire in the Blood, and conked out halfway through the 3AM airing (the vcr caught it), so I don't yet know how it ends.

I started watching it and then had to put the baby down. I should have asked DH to pause it or record it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Steph, I was thinking about you the other day, when I bought a bottle of wine from a local winery that is supposed to be yummy, and has a screwtop on it. It also had a little note explaining why this is a good thing.

Heh. *That's* funny! And yet, necessary. What winery was it? Was it Bonny Doon, by any chance?

I'm guessing it wasn't Boone's Farm.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Much goodjob~ma to Fay!

I was at a local winery in December, and the person in charge of the tour mentioned that screw-tops were better for wine than corks. But she said it would probably be a while before that concept was accepted by many wine folks.
