Hee! Cindy, it's not *bad*; it's just not up to my standards. Is that better?
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
APRIL APRIL APRIL APRIL APRIL!!!!!
I'm not working today. I'm going back to sleep. Take THAT March!
It's April, the sky is blue, the sun is shining, and it's about 20 degrees colder than it was yesterday. Tomorrow there's supposed to be snow. I think March is getting one last (I hope last) spiteful dig in.
Greg's favorite boss has been very kind to us over the last few years, and she's been having a tough time of it, so today she's going to get flowers from us for her birthday. Except that Greg remembered last night that her birthday is really the 15th, not today. I'm not sure if that counts as an April fools joke or not -- or on whom.
April 1 should have been the Wonder Dog's birthday. Sigh.
Oh erika, I'm sorry. Some losses don't go away, do they?
I'm sorry Erika.
No, they really don't.(But there were never party hats, I feel like I should explain.)
Lucy says Happy Birthday anyway, Bailie. And hugs to you Erika.
Aw, thanks everyone.
I feel not so geeky now. But in a slightly wistful way, not in a gloaty way.
meara sums up my feelings admirably. I do know someone who has a ring inscription tattoo (I'm pretty sure he's not the StuntHusband, as he lives in Savannah and is not named Alex), but I looked at it blankly and had to be told what it was.
