I don't know, Deena. Ozzie might weigh about the same as Aidan. Maybe they could be buddies.
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Think of it as a pony, Deena.
I have gold sequined slippers and hair dye. I am getting picked up at 4:30. I have two hours to dye, pluck, shave, scrub, moisturize, sparkle, coif, macquillage, perfume, dress and bejewel myself.
It's hard work, being a girl.
It sure is. Me, I have just received a new embroidery project. It is on pink linen and it has a pattern of violets and a lace doily. It is done in silk. I am the girliest girly-girl ever.
Of course, I am also working on the black-and-gold quilted pirate vest.
Jacqueline, people often behave weirdly in grief, but I think your granddad's girlfriend may be abusing that privilege.

I have to re-do the house wards (hedge-witchy thing), take a shower, put on makeup, get dressed, eat lunch, and possibly do another load of laundry, all in the next two and a half hours. After my pseudo-big-brother shows up at 3PM, we have to go find some stuff for a birthday party tonight, call another friend, and run some errands. (Pete is not involved in any of this because he's at an all-day D&D game.)
Huh. I should walk away from the computer now.
It's hard work, being a girl.
I am going to a girl's night party at a GF's house tonight. Her DH left her last fall and this is the first time she is doing a social thing. Whee! First half of alphabet bring wine, second half bring food. Girls night!
I've done my toe and finger nails. I don't do makeup, but I do intend to shower and dress.
Today: Washed dog, did laundry, did work stuff, watched kids swim, picked up LR, washed dishes, water plants, something else for sure.
Whee! First half of alphabet bring wine, second half bring food.
Oh, that's an easy way. Why haven't I thought of that?
I am dyeing as we speak. And eating cereal -- big buffet tonight, and I don't want to be all bloaty and tired.
Dear God, I don't know why I posted that. I'm insane.
Thank you for pointing it out, Cindy. Really. Thanks.

so one of matt's guitar buddies is comming down for the night. I like her a lot , so this is cool. but the 'guest room' which will one day be a music room guest room. was mostly full of stuff. Including 25 boxes. So we 1) moved the boes to the garage, 2) set up the bed, 3) hunted down the evil webs, 4) put some stuff in the book cases 5) cleaned the house, 6) for some reason this inculded washing all the slip covers and throws in the living room, ( one twice due to a tragic jones cherry soda incident), and 7) did a grocery store run. Happily, she lives in the wine country and is bringing the wine. Proudly, I resisted the beer and got water out of the fridge.
Thank you for giving me permission to feel surly about it. I promise not to actually drive out to the East Bay and actually clock her one, and if I break that promise I also promise to not say when I am caught, "But my invisible friends on the internets were validating my feelings, yo."
No idea what the yo is doing there.
We need pictures of glammed-up sparkly Erin.
Between Jilli's to-do list and Laura's already-done list, I feel as exhausted as though I had done everything on both lists, although my actual already-done list consists solely of walked to hardware store and back with Emmett, bought coffee beans and I am presently pretending that my to-do list does not exist.
