Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

You know, he wasn't so much of a dog person when we first met, but I did a LOT of dog-sitting with him as "company" and he's gotten in the groove of things. He likes grayhounds a lot. I'd like to think about getting a dog once we get settled and figure things out. We will have a fenced in yard... but I don't know how grayhound legs/hips would deal with going up and down all the stairs all the time.

I think eventually we'll get a dog. I hope it's in the relatively near future (in about a year or so). Or maybe some dog will get us!

When do you move to your new place?

We close on the 21st and move on the 28th (knock wood) of June.

What is even happening?

Woo hoo. It'll all work out. Lots of people only get their money if it works out. They'll work hard to make it work for you.

I figured giving a full week between the closing date and the move would give us a little wiggle room in case something was discovere at the 11th hour, like, oops, that fence is actually on an ancient Indian burial groung type of thing.

Or something. I'm always hearing about Something Going Awry at the last minute.

At least when you're a first time buyer, you've eliminated at least half of the potential things that can go wrong, because your purchase doesn't depend on you selling another property.

Whoo! Fixed the problem by taking out the information on my high school diploma. Two resumes off. Craziness. Now I must shower and get my ass to school!

Trust my rage

Everyone is up and busy this morning. I guess it feels early to me since I no longer have class to rush off to.

I am supposed to be studying - only one final left and it's not until next Wednesday. I really want to just curl up on the couch and watch Project Greenlight, but since I'm supposed to study with a friend this afternoon, I feel like I should do something so it's not just me leaching off her preparation.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Skipping and skimming to announce that I arrived safely in Missouri. I'll be dark until sometime on Monday, most likely.
